About

The Farm Willowbrooke has been in the family for 4 decades and 2 generations have been the custodians of the land and its environment. When we first decided to build Willowbrooke Wedding & Country Venue our dream was simple, to take a country homestead and create a magical and romantic setting in lush beautiful gardens where willow trees stand tall and strong and serenity resides within the simplicity of nature, the place where love stories are composed and journeys begin. The spring lake is the centrepiece of the homestead where fish play, ducks wallow in the water and birds fly freely over the land and nest in the reeds.

When it came to naming the venue, it wasn’t hard to realise we just needed to look around us and see the majestic willows representing strength and stability with a somewhat whimsical theme to them and adding “Brooke” representing the two rivers and spring lake with an abundance of water streaming through the property. It reminded us of the parallels of marriage. Two souls joined together in Strength, Stability and Joie de Vivre.

“The willow reminds us to be flexible enough to see the potential for something new”

– Lee Bezuidenhout, owner Willowbrooke
